WEE! HELLO AGAIN, RESIDENTS OF ELJAYLAND!
I've not updated (or been online or on my computer at all, for that matter) in ages because several keys on my laptop keyboard stopped working, and without the S key I couldn't log in to my computer accounts. But most of them have now just started working again, so YAYETH! I have no idea how or why they started functioning again, but I'm not complaining. Now if only my "two" key would start working again.
I have to start sifting through all of your entries, and I have to admit, it'll probably take me a good month. If any of you have any pressing matters, something exciting or life-changing or incredibly important or just something you'd like me to know about your whereabouts and whatabouts during my extended absence, just comment to this entry.
Oh, LiveJournal. I have missed you so very much. *sighs contentedly* Current Mood: content Current Music: "Master of the House," Les Miserables

I have fixed my computer! The wireless goes in and out, but my computer is now no longer thumbing its nose at me! I have started work at the same day-camp I worked at for the past two summers, and I'm working with the second grade. This is probably the best batch of kids I've had yet, so I'm psyched. I'm also helping my boss with her Epic Literature course, and she's offered to pay me. That = Happy Marjory. And I'm looking into getting an evening job, as well. Unfortunately, I am sick today. I couldn't sleep at all last night, either. But daytime soaps are a cure-all. OH, THEY ARE SO BAD THEY'RE GOOD. P.S. I HAVE STARTED WATCHING THE WEST WING AND I LOVE IT OH-SO-MUCH AND AARON SORKIN YOU ARE FANTASTIC. I FINISHED SEASON ONE AND WATCHED THE FIRST EPISODE OF THE SECOND SEASON AND AAAH. ALSO, BRADLEY WHITFORD, I LOVE YOU FOREVER AND EVER. Damn you, Taurchini. P.P.S. Everyone watch Urban Ninja II. It's shot in Ireland and is even better than the first. Oh, God, Robert Hoffman makes me so happy in the pants. And while you're at it, watch. him. dance. ZOMG. Current Mood: sick

INDYYY! MICHEEELLE! realityslur was nice enough to snap the shots of Mike with the sign for me, as I didn't have a digital camera. They aren't very large and the first is a tad blurry, so you can't make out the words. BUT THERE IS A CLOSE-UP OF THE SIGN WITH ME POINTING TO THE LETTERS AND MUHNEY HOLDING IT IN HIS SEXTASTIC HANDS. ( MUHNEY BEHIND THE CUT! )And here's a little cropped photo of the Muhneynator and moi: Current Mood: giggly

Someone made a post on veronica_mars regarding season three and asked everyone to post their top three choices for guest stars who could play professors. They had to be reasonable choices. And I picked Alan Tudyk. Oh God, I just have the most amazing mental images. I could see him teaching Astronomy, or a science/math related field. Maybe Alan would play a computer science teacher who'd have binary braingasms. And he would wear the most ridiculous ties. And when he'd lecture, he'd get so goddamn excited. There'd be lots of energetic gesturing and non-verbal articulation, which would mean lots of squee for us. I took Astronomy to fulfill the science requirement, so I can see Veronica enrolling in a similar course. "Okay, everyone, settle down. Today's highlight, straight from Spaceflight Now: 'Scientists at Duke and Rutgers universities have developed a mathematical framework they say will enable astronomers to test a new five-dimensional theory of gravity that competes with Einstein's General Theory of Relativity.' Can you tell me why this is significant, Miss Mars?" "Um...it's not really all relative?" "Thank you, Miss Mars, for your creative but, sadly, incorrect answer. No; part of what this means is that, contrary to Einstein's theory, small, primordial black holes must still exist, to this very day. And I don't mean the dorms' sock-sucking washing machines." And then there'd be dead silence from the class. "Good. Glad to see you're all coming with me on this one. Open your texts and turn to page 394." Current Mood: giggly

GOD. I saw the most beautiful male specimen on the train today. Short black hair, blue eyes, black "Pearl" shirt, jeans, converses, drumsticks in hand. His features were somewhat reminiscent of Cary Elwes/Jesse Spencer, except it worked with his colouring and ensemble. And there was definite shifty eye-contact. Except, of course, I looked a bloody mess. Sometimes I wish I were gorgeous so I could stun males with my looks and my ability to provide coherent, or even riveting, conversation.
Also, I had my ten year old sister with me, and since I'm Dominican I'm sure 83% of people on the train thought she was my daughter. Someone actually asked, as we (my sister and I) were being all giggly and teasing each other, so I made sure my voice carried when I stated that I had not birthed her.
Of course, I just said I was her sister. 'Cause the lady was nice. Still: sister. NOT MOTHER. Current Mood: giggly

Okies, all. Off to bed. Write-up when I get my pics; video when I can hook it up to my comp and upload the twenty minutes of Muhney-esque footage.
Also, my father GOT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL YESTERDAY. AND HE FEELS TONS BETTER, WHICH IS, NO LIE, THE BEST PART OF THIS WEEK. He hasn't had a TIA in days, and he's actually happy again, which is awesome, because he'd been really depressed for the last few weeks. And because I wasn't staying overnight in the hospital and sleeping in a chair for the first time in days, I actually slept well.
By the way, I fucking hate my father's private doctors, and they can kiss my ass. Plavix and aspirin, shitheads? A blood-thinner as powerful (and expensive) as that, plus aspirin, and you're prescribing it to a man who's had dizzy spells and could pass out and hit his head at any given moment. NICE. Dr. House would KICK YOUR ASS. With his cane, of course.
Anyway, I'm just glad to be back home.
